Being in love, or loving someone, does not mean that i will like everything she does, or that she will like everything i do.
Communication. Don't underestimate it. It is key to keeping a relationship. For when you both stop talking, you both stop walking.
True, being the one to stand down, is not an easy task. But remaining uncommunicative is a sure way to splitting up.
Update: Novia and I talked later in the night on yahoo. Not what i would have wanted, but under the circumstances, it was the option we had if we didn't want the friction to carry over. And i realized that i had heard what she didn't say; and she had said what she didn't mean.
Lesson learned: Never sweat the small stuff!

Hhmmm, I agree with beliver "there is no substitute for commuication" keep talking and talking and talking. Sometimes in relationships, I believe disagreements and some times fights are healthy, they help us to understand the other person and the shape of things to come.
