Novia has been out of town for some weeks, and still we fight. i think it's a good sign for two people learning to accomodate each other's strong personalities; but sometimes it scares me. Still, like salvation, we both need to work out this relationship.

PS:I have grown since meeting Novia, and before then i would have sulked and not called her, like we have been doing every nite since she travelled. But i know better now, so i called her. And she answered. We bared our feelings. We didn't reach a common ground, but talking about it was still some kind of connection.

so here is my question
how long has it been since the beginning
@kafo, exactly 2 months and 10 days, today. and yes it is work. and i believe that's the way it works out in real life unlike hollywood depicts...and its not like "hard" work, its more like "fun" work...where we are both willing to roll up our sleeves...i think that's a good thing, cos like i have said before, after the passion comes the partnership.
awwwwww you even remember the amount of days that is cool, i guess my apprehension is not grounded cuz i assumed that you have been together for a while (by this i mean at least 6 months) so i assumed that most of the kinks would have been worked out by now,

here is what i will say
i am NO expert on relationships i have only been in one and it is mostly long distance which SUCKS but yeah, work which is fun in a relationship is good but there is a line,
i don't know the line for you guyz (it differs for each couple i beleive) but with time i know that you will be able to figure out if this relationship is TOO much work
as i said before
WITH TIME (time is also relative i would say at least 4-6 months if not even 1 year because the honeymoon stage will be over by then)you will know,

Practice receiving what she offers rather than insisting that she supply what you feel you need. When we speak different languages, we will naturally be more at home with one, and while we will make a good-faith effort to speak a second or third language, that native comfort with the first will mean that with the first language is where we'll feel most ourselves. Practice receiving her first language -- it is apparently not the spoken word, and she has told you that clearly -- and receive it with thanks and without judgment. You are receiving her.
No woman will be your all-supply; it is not her job to try. After all, human relationships are not for needs-meeting: they are for maturation and service. That's my opinion. Enjoy the journey. :)

I need to tell you that I dont know your relationship...but Novia doesnt sound too happy with you. I couldnt take such abuse. I need to hear everyday "I love you", and I need to know how much my significant other cares for me.
